Who We Are

Psychological Services at Hebrew University offers therapeutic support to students across all four campuses, through diverse treatment approaches.

Recognized by the Ministry of Health for clinical psychology internships since 1979, our program has been shaping generations of professionals ever since.

What the Training Includes

Our program offers a comprehensive and uniquely structured clinical training framework, guided by an experienced team of supervisors.

In-Depth Training in the Psychodynamic Psychoanalytic Approach:

  • Two weekly individual supervision sessions for long-term therapy cases
  • Weekly group supervision
  • Weekly theoretical reading seminar

Comprehensive and Up-to-Date Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):

  • Group training seminar
  • Weekly dyadic supervision throughout the internship
  • Oversight provided by Hebrew University’s Prof. Jonathan Huppert, a leading expert in the field

Additional Training Components:

  • Interviewing techniques
  • Psycho-diagnostics

Program Structure

  • 3-year internship program
  • Part-time (50%) workload, spanning 3 workdays per week at Hebrew University’s campuses
  • Interns may opt for one workday at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment campus in Rehovot

Suitable candidates will be invited for a personal interview. Prior to the interview, in preparation for the discussion, applicants are requested to submit a short personal narrative (up to two pages) describing their life journey from a personal perspective, reflecting their self-understanding in relation to their personal development as a therapist.
